Nominate to FuM

The Faculty Council (FuM) is LinTek's highest decision-making body, which consists of 27 student members who are elected by LinTek's members. A member serves a one-year mandate, after which a new election is held.

F&M is responsible for making decisions on overall issues such as the operations LinTek will conduct in the coming years. The union council meets about once a month and appoints LinTek's union board and other central positions that carry out the actual work. Other duties that the District Council has are to decide on LinTek's budget each year. FuM also reviews the union board and the activities of the committees, but above all, it is FuM's task to shape LinTek's position on major and decisive issues.

It is possible to nominate for FuM for the academic year 2025/2026 up to and including April 11th. The election itself will then be held on April 15-20.

Justification for nomnation

Information is collected by LinTek, who’s also responsible for the personal records you hand in. The purpose for collection of your personal records is to organize the election for the Student Union Council. Your consent is valid for the time period described here. The picture and information you provide yourself as a candidate will be stored until the election is completed. If you are elected, your name and LiU-ID will be stored for as long as you are a Council member. I any case the election result will be stored, inculding your first name and surname, until further notice. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, however this prevents you from being a candidate in the election. To do this contact the election committee at valnamnd@lintek.liu.se. You have the right to contact us if you would like to see the information we store about you. Contact dataskyddsombud@lintek.liu.se if you would like to correct or transfer your information, to request that we limit the processing of your personal records, to make an objection or to request a deletion of your personal records.
